Change your screen options
Brightspace Capture sets default camera and screen dimensions at ideal resolutions to ensure your computer can stream your camera and screen presentation successfully. Selecting a higher bitrate and framerate than the default setting can negatively affect your network and video quality. If you need to adjust these settings to accommodate your specific Brightspace Capture set-up, contact your Brightspace Capture administrator for further support.
- On the main Brightspace Capture Software screen, click Options.
- On the Camera and Screen tab, in the Camera section, from the Video drop-down list, select a camera option.
- On the Camera and Screen tab, in the Camera section, from the Audio drop-down list, select an audio option.
- If you share your desktop using the Adobe FMLE encoder, the Focus on windows? check box displays and enables you to share a selected window on your desktop instead of the entire desktop. Clear the Focus on windows? check box if you want to share your entire desktop.
After you finish: Desktop preview is unavailable, but you can view if your selected audio is working properly in the preview video window's moving audio bar. If you select No audio from the Audio drop-down list, your audio bar does not detect sound.
