Retract and re-publish assessments of discussions

You can retract published assessments from learner view if you need to re-assess discussion posts. This option is available for individual users on a case-by-case basis, or you can use the bulk retract and publishing features for larger numbers of users or the entire class.

1. On the navbar, click Discussions.
2. From the context menu of the topic you want to assess, click Assess Topic.
3. In the Users tab, select the Published check box in the Status column for each user you want to reassess. Observe the Retract on Save message that appears. Click Save.
4. Click Topic Score for each user and make your changes to the assessment.
5. Click Save Draft to retain the assessment results and publish later. Click Publish to immediately release the assessment results to the learner in Assignments, Discussions, Grades, Content, and User Progress simultaneously. The Status column displays a Published check box. To bulk publish the reassessments for multiple users, click Publish All Scores.
