Integration Pack for Student Information Systems (IPSIS)

The Integration Pack for Student Information Systems (IPSIS) is a family of products for enabling integrations between Student Information Systems and other systems of a similar nature (for example, User Information Systems, Learner Information Systems, and Human Resource Systems). The product family consists of the IPSIS Platform, which provides the common components that most SIS integrations require, as well as a collection of optional products that you can use based on your organization's integration needs.

The additional products are:

  • LIS v2.0 Adapter - Used for integrating with systems that support the IMS Global Learning Consortium's Learning Information Services (LIS) specification
  • Administration Interface - Used for configuring and reviewing the status of any SIS integrations
  • D2L Standard CSV – Used to integration your SIS/HRIS system with Brightspace by using simple, easy to construct D2L defined CSV files

  • OneRoster CSV or REST – Used for integration with K12 systems that support the IMS Global Learning Consortium’s OneRoster specification

  • Ellucian ILP – Used for integration with Banner or Colleague systems. Based on LIS specifications.

  • Section Association Interface - Used to perform manual manipulation of relationships between enrollable courses or sections in the SIS and course offerings in Brightspace Learning Environment
