Inserting images in the HTML Editor

  1. Insert an image from your computer
  2. Insert an image from course files
  3. Insert an image from shared files
  4. Insert an image from a URL

Insert an image from your computer

  1. Place your cursor where you want the image to appear in your content.
  2. Click the Insert Image icon.
  3. Click null My Computer.
  4. Browse to select an image from your files or simply drag and drop the file to insert it into your content.
  5. Click Open.
  6. Click Choose Destination to select the location to store the file.
  7. Click Select a Path.
  8. Click Add.
  9. Enter alternative text to describe your image, or select the This image is decorative check box.
  10. Click Ok.

Note  Internet Explorer 9 and older currently do not support dragging and dropping files from your desktop into Learning Environment.

Insert an image from course files

  1. Place your cursor where you want the image to appear in your content.
  2. Click the Insert Image icon.
  3. Click Course Offering Files.
  4. Select an image from the folders available.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Enter alternative text to describe your image, or select the This image is decorative check box.
  7. Click Ok.

Insert an image from shared files

  1.  Place your cursor where you want the image to appear in your content.
  2. Click the Insert Image icon.
  3. Click null Shared Files.
  4. Select an image from the file list.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Enter alternative text to describe your image, or select the This image is decorative check box.
  7. Click Ok.

Insert an image from a URL

  1. Place your cursor where you want the image to appear in your content.
  2. Click the Insert Image icon.
  3. Click null URL.
  4. Enter the URL of the image you want to insert.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Enter alternative text to describe your image, or select the This image is decorative check box.
  7. Click Ok.
