Setting a location as active or inactive

At the course level, define which locations you want available for your course and assign seating arrangements. Locations are inactive by default. Active locations are available for use in your course's seating charts and events. Choose which locations you want to use in your course and set them as active.

Setting a location to inactive removes it from the list of active locations and prevents you and others from creating a seating chart for the location or associating the location with Calendar events.

Set a location as active or inactive

1. On the course level Locations page, select the check box beside the name of the location you want to make active or inactive.
2. Click Set Active or Set Inactive.
