Managing a collection of learning objects

  1. Add a learning object to your collection
  2. Remove a learning object from your collection
  3. Rename your collection
  4. Add a header image
  5. Make your collection private

Add a learning object to your collection

  1. Do one of the following:
    • On the LOR Results page, click Add to Collection from the learning object's context menu.
    • On the learning object's landing page, click Add to Collection from the More Actions button.
  2. Enter a New Collection Name, or select a Destination Collection from the drop-down list.

    Note  Only the collections you create appear in the drop-down list.

    • If you're creating a new collection, select Hide collection in search results if you don't want the collection to show in the search results.
  3. Click Add.

Remove a learning object from your collection

  1. On the LOR Results page, click the collection name.
  2. Select the check box beside each item you want to remove from the collection and click Remove.

Rename your collection

  1. On the LOR Results page, click the collection name.
  2. Click Edit [collection name] from the collection's context menu.
  3. Enter a new Collection Name.

Add a header image

  1. On the LOR Results page, click the collection name.
  2. Click Edit [collection name] from the collection's context menu.
  3. Add a Header Image by doing one of the following:
    • Click Upload to add an image file from your computer.
    • Click Choose Existing to add an image file from Manage Files.
    • Click and drag a file from your computer onto the Header Image area.
  4. Click Save.

Make your collection private

  1. On the LOR Results page, click the collection name.
  2. Click Edit [collection name] from the collection's context menu.
  3. Select Hide collection in search results in the Visibility area.
  4. Click Save.

Note   Learning objects in a private collection will still be accessible to other users as standalone objects if their visibility settings are set accordingly.
