Retrieving learning objects to course files without navigation

You can import learning objects or files directly into the course files folder. Retrieving learning objects this way breaks their navigation structure and their organization into modules. Reasons for importing learning objects and files into course files rather than Content include:

Retrieve learning objects from Manage Courses

  1. On My Home or a course home page, click Course Management in the Admin Tools widget, or from the Admin Tools menu on the minibar.
  2. Click Create a New Course Offering or Template.
  3. From the last step of creating a course offering, click Import from Learning Object Repository.
  4. Click Search to find the learning object you want.
  5. Click Retrieve from the learning object's context menu.
  6. Click Copy as Course Files to retrieve the object into Manage Files without navigation intact.
  7. If the destination folder listed is not the one you want, click Choose Destination to select a new folder.
  8. Click Copy.

Retrieve learning objects from an LOR search results page
