Saving learning objects to your PC

You can save learning objects to your PC if you want to edit files outside Learning Environment. Learning Repository packages the learning objects you choose as a ZIP file.

Save the learning object from Manage Courses

1. On My Home or a course home page, click Course Management in the Admin Tools widget, or from the Admin Tools menu on the minibar.
2. Click Create a New Course Offering or Template.
3. From the last step of creating a course offering, click Import from Learning Object Repository.
4. Click Search to find the learning object you want.
5. Click Retrieve from the learning object's context menu.
6. Click Download to package the learning object into a zip file.
7. Click the Download button to save the packaged zip file to your computer.

Save the learning object or file from an LOR search results page

1. On My Home or a course home page, click LOR on the navbar or click Search / Browse from the Learning Repository (LOR) widget if it is available.
2. Click Search to find the learning object you want.
3. Click Retrieve from the learning object's context menu.
4. Click Download to package the learning object into a zip file.
5. Click the Download button to save the packaged zip file to your computer.
