Creating learning objectives

Create a learning objective

  1. On the Competency Home page, click Learning Objective from the New button.
  2. Enter a Name and Description for the learning objective.

Tip  Use a name that clearly identifies the learning objective.

  3. You can enter an Additional Identifier for the learning objective. You can use this field to refer to a professional or academic standard related to the learning objective.
  4. If you want to restrict the activity types that can be associated with this learning objective, select Yes in the Enforced Assessment Method section, then select the check boxes beside the activity types you want to allow. If you do not want to enforce an assessment method, select No.

Note  You cannot change this setting once the learning objective is saved.

  5. If you are ready to allow users access to the learning objective, select Yes in the Ready for Evaluation section. Users cannot complete the learning objective if No is selected.
  6. Click Save.
