It is from within the LiveRoom application that sessions take place and users gather to communicate, share resources, and conduct presentations. LiveRoom’s interface is divided into four major areas:

Tips
You can resize each of the areas by dragging the dividers between them, allowing you to adapt the interface to your needs.
Most of the controls inside LiveRoom have tool tips associated with them. If you want to know what something does, hover your mouse over it for a second and a tool tip will appear explaining its function.
The Room Members List displays all of the users currently inside the room. Room members are grouped according to their current access level, with moderators at the top, followed by participants, and then guests. Your own name will appear in the list in bold.
When participants raise their hands, ask questions, leave feedback on the pace of the presentation, or request resource permissions, indicators will appear in this list. It is a good idea to watch this list regularly to keep tabs on your audience.
To help make this easier, you can sort the room members list in a number of different ways, including raised hands, questions, and pace.
To sort the room members list
In the Room Members List, click the Options menu, point to Sort by, and then select the type of sorting you want to apply.
Note sorting will only affect your own view of the room members list, it will not change the way other room members see the list.

participant want you to speed upThe Chat Window is where the session’s conversation takes place. Messages typed by room members will appear in the chat window, including your own messages. You can add messages to the conversation by typing into the Message box at the bottom of the chat window and clicking Send.
The chat window displays messages in the order they are submitted, adding new messages to the bottom of the transcript as they are received. Moderator’s names will appear in bold in the chat window. A sample conversation might look as follows:

Each room member can customize the appearance of their own messages, so messages from different room members may use different colors, font styles, and even highlighting.
Tip by customizing the appearance of your own messages, you can help other room members identify who is speaking.
In addition to public messages added to the conversation, the chat window will also display:
Watch the chat window frequently to follow the conversation and stay updated on what is happening inside the room.
The Presentation Explorer shows a list of all the resources that have been added to the room. You will use this area to manage the presentation’s resources by adding and removing resources, changing their position in the list, and hiding and “unhiding” specific resources. The tool bar buttons at the top of the Presentation Explorer allow you to quickly manage the resources in your presentation.
The presentation explorer is also used to control the presentation by specifying the Browse Type and setting the active resource.

the active resource, the resource that participants and guests are currently viewing (only applicable if the Browse Type is set to Preview or Follow)The Resource Viewer is where resources are displayed and controlled. Different types of resources have different controls; these are accessible through the Resource Viewer’s tool bar and, in some cases, through a special resource tool bar that will appear beneath the standard tool bar. The Resource Viewer tool bar also contains controls that allow you to switch between resources, activate a resource (in Preview mode), annotate a resource, and download an image of the currently displayed resource.
Switching between resources can be done by clicking the 
Previous and 
Next buttons, or by selecting a resource directly from the drop-down list (located between the Previous and Next buttons).
